about me
i'm a product manager who cares about the problem more than the solution. i've spent 5 years building products at companies ranging from 10 to 10,000 people — and the work that matters most is always the same: understanding users, making hard calls, and shipping things that work.
background
i started in engineering — wrote code for two years before realizing i was more interested in what to build than how to build it. moved into product through an APM program and never looked back.
my approach is research-first. i don't trust my intuition until i've talked to users, looked at the data, and stress-tested the assumptions. i've been wrong enough times to know that the best ideas usually come from the people using the product — not from the people building it.
outside of work: i read a lot, run occasionally, and have a half-finished side project that i keep meaning to ship.
experience
led checkout, onboarding, and search products. managed a team of 3 PMs. shipped 12 major features, 2 platform migrations.
first PM hire. built the product org from scratch. defined the roadmap, hired 2 PMs, and grew DAU 3x in 18 months.
APM program. rotated across growth, monetization, and platform. shipped my first A/B test and got hooked.
